Google seems to roll and enter the budget phone industry next to nokia. There's some roll in introduction that the upcoming Project Ara taht will be availabl for only $50, the newly patented Google Contact Lens with built - in microcamera. Reports are telling us that a new Google nexus Smartphone will be arriving with a price tag below $100 or PHP 4,000.Since it’s rumored to be really affordable ($100 converts to around the Php4,000 mark), don’t expect that it will be at the same range as the Nexus 5 when it comes to specs. Instead, the company is gearing this new smartphone for the entry-level to midrange category. There is a possibility, though, that we could be seeing better specs than what we normally see in lower-end devices since the Nexus 5 came with better-than-usual specs for its asking price. Hopefully, Google uses this same formula we’re used to seeing from its Nexus lineup. As of now, the only rumored component is a MediaTek processor.

Speaking at a technology conference, Hewlett-Packard corporate executive Whitman said she was stunned by the charm of the Chromebook.
"Chromebooks have stunned United States in the breadth of their field. it's not simply education, it's tiny business," she said, in an interview at the Morgan Stanley Technology, Media & telecommunication Conference in metropolis on Monday.
"It's a broader charm than I originally anticipated or we have a tendency to anticipated that it'd be...it does seem there's  a real life to Chromebook in the tiny to medium-sized business and even in [corporate] enterprise", she said.

Also, associated with these comments -- and what could be interpreted as not-so-good news for Microsoft -- she reemphasized HP's strategy to expand on the far side Windows.
"There are some groups...[who] do not need Windows backward compatibility in their laptop computer," she said. "So I am convinced this multi-OS, multi-architecture, multi-form factor strategy is the right one for United States and we are reaching to follow the market...and try to be the leading provider there on the commercial aspect," she said.
NPD analyst Stephen Baker agrees regarding the fragmentation of the market.
"The fragmenting of the market into multiple OS, processor technologies, brands and channels...is in progress and the success of Chromebooks is precisely because this fragmentation has opened the area for them to find their niche," he said, in response to associate e-mail query.
HP presently sells the Chromebook 11 and Chromebook 14, priced at $279 and $299, respectively.
Samsung upped its association with the Chromebook with an announcement of a coming Chromebook pair-up this month of April.
Both 11- and 13-inch versions can sport a Samsung Exynos five Octa chip and the 13-incher can offer, a high-resolution one,920x1,080 display.

Samsung appears to have a new Chromebook in the works that sports the company's new trademark faux leather cover.
Images tweeted by @evleaks shows what appears to be a Chrome OS-powered notebook that includes a back wrapped in textured pretend black leather. and framed by stitching on the perimeters, very similar to last year's Galaxy Note 3 and therefore the recently declared Black Edition of the Galaxy S4 smartphones. The images, that evleaks identified as a Chromebook 2, features a notebook with the familiar Samsung and Chrome logos.

Samsung hasn't had a new version of its plastic Chromebook since its initial unharness in 2012, however the South Korean physical science big can be activity a refresh. Hints emerged late last month on the B&H pic computing device that the notebook lineup would presently get updated with eleven.6- and 13.3-inch models.
The new laptops, priced at $299 and $399 respectively, were reportedly listed as pre-orders on the retailer's site.however no details were offered as to what would power the new devices or after they might land in consumers' hands.
The executive lineup at Microsoft might see a lot of high-level changes in the weeks to follow.

Vice presidents Tony Bates and Tami Reller are going out of the corporation, with associates saying announcement of the departures will be coming within the next few days, consistent with a story announced Sunday by Kara Swisher about the rearrange, citing "numerous sources near the case".
No word was given on where Bates and Reller could be headed.

Bates has been serving as Microsoft's chief of business development and discourse, whereas Reller has been the software system maker's head of promotions. The rearrange report aforesaid that Bates' duties are going to behandled for the present by Eric Rudder, while Reller's replacement are going to be Chris Capossela. Bates had return to Microsoft in its acquisition of Skype, where he had served as corporate executive.
The report of the supposed departures comes a few month after Microsoft named Satya Nadella as its new corporate executive, taking on from old company leader Steve Ballmer.
Microsoft confirmed that Julie Larson-Green would be stepping out of her post as leader of hardware development to acquire the highest spot at My Life & Work team within the Applications and Services cluster.
Bates and Larson-Green were among the interior candidates, beside Nadella, whom Microsoft had thought of for the corporate executive post, consistent with other reports.
Microsoft declined to confirm the rearrange report.

Qualcomm announces 3 new chipset at MWC this year. The snapdragon 801, 601 and 615. Expected to be released late this year, the Snapdragon 801 will be a minor update to the current Snapdragon 800. Snapdragon 801 is very similar to its predecessor but improves on a handful of key things. The CPU clock speed has been bumped from 2.26GHz to 2.45GHz, the GPU clock speed from 450MHz to 578MHz and the memory bus from 800MHz to 933MHz.

The other chipset are the Qualcomm Snapdragon 610 and the 615. Both of which are Qualcomm's newest 64-bit chipsets. The 610 employs four 64-bit ARM Cortex A53 cores along with Adreno 405 GPU. The 615 doubles the core count, going for an eight core A53 configuration with everything else being identical to the 610. Qualcomm has not yet released the clock speeds on the CPU and GPU. Things got awkward for short moment on stage when Microsoft executives were asked about the possibility of Nokia using Android.

Joe Belfiore, vice president of operating systems for Windows, looked to Nick Parker, who runs the world original equipment manufacturer group. Parker looked back, with both wanting to defer to the other.

Belfiore spoke up, reiterating Microsoft's strong relationship with Nokia.
Some things we're excited about, some things we're less excited about," Belfiore said during Microsoft's Mobile World Congress press conference on Sunday, eliciting more than a few chuckles. "Whatever they do, we're very supportive of them."

Parker chimed in, noting that he appreciates the competition.

"It's great to sit there and compete"

Nokia and Microsoft have long had a cozy partnership, particularly with devices head Stephen Elop, a Microsoft veteran poised to return to the mothership. Nokia, in turn, is responsible for a vast majority of sales of Windows Phone devices. Any growth in sales for Windows Phone is due to Nokia. It's the only company to consistently show excitement about the operating system.

"What they do is what they do," Belfiore said.

Microsoft has announced that the much anticipated Microsoft Windows Phone 8.1 update will arrive this spring. Joe Belfiore, the vice president and manager for Windows Phone Program Management, took to the stage at MWC to reveal that the update will support all existing Windows Phone 8 devices.

With the Microsoft Windows Phone 8.1 update, the Redmond giant will add on-screen buttons along with hardware support for Snapdragon 200, 400 and LTE chipsets. The new changes will allow OEMs to produce cheaper devices or even reuse their existing droid handsets.

Additionally, the forthcoming update will allow you to store your applications in the microSD card, which also means that the manufacturers can now ship devices with 512 MB of RAM and 4 GB of memory. The Windows Phone 8.1 will include dual-SIM support with live tiles for each SIM and the ability to link those in the user interface.

Microsoft's press conference was not only about detailing its WP 8.1 update, the company also announced a couple of new hardware partners. The Windows Phone platform will now be driven by the likes of Foxconn, HTC, Huawei, ISR, Karbonn, Lenovo, LG, Longcheer, Nokia, Samsung, ZTE and Xolo.

Unfortunately, Microsoft has refrained itself from detailing a lot about the upcoming Windows Phone 8.1 update. However, the company is expected to provide more information during its BUILD developer's conference in April.

Sony Sold 5.3 Million Playstation 4

Sony is extremely happy right now because they just sold 5.3 million PlayStation 4 worldwide. Even though they haven't released the PlayStation 4 in Japan yet, their home turf. Sony just surpassed their target of selling 5 million consoles which was predicted to be reached by the end of the fiscal year. Don't worry about the Xbox One because when the Titanfall starts shipping, it would probably increase the market share of Xbox One.
