Qube is not a brand that you would readily recognize when it comes to smartphones and tablets. But we are lucky that Qube chose us to be the first blog to handle their newest affordable Flagship SmartPhone device the, Qube Colonia 5.5 one of the lowest priced Octacore device in the Philippine market so far. So what we are waiting for! Let's take a peek at the device now.
The Qube Colonia 5.5 design is gorgeous; it looks like a Nokia Lumia Device without the Nokia Lumia price. In front, you have a Glossy black display with a small white on the side and top while at the back you have a matte finish cover, it has three capacitive buttons at the bottom part.
On the left side of the smartphone are the volume keys.
On the top you can find the 3.5mm audio jack.
On the right side you can find the power button.
On the bottom part you can find the micro usb port.
The Qube Colonia 5.5 is equipped with 1.7GHz Octacore MediaTek MT6592 processor, 2GB of Ram, 16 GB of rom overall performance are really awesome, I played Edge of Tomorrow, Asphalt 8 and impressively I didn't experience any lag. In case you want to know the Antutu Benchmark score received 26,466 not bad which is actually normal for some octacore device..
The Qube Colonia has a 5.5" HD IPS display at a crisp 320dpi only off by a few dpi’s from a Nokia Lumia 1520, offering you a sharp and brilliant display with a wide viewing angle.
The Qube Colonia camera, rear and front camera are really impressive, it gives a good camera shot on good lighting condition. The rear camera result is quite dark, but when you used the flash in low light it will give you a good camera shot. Check out our sample shots below.

Qube is really doing their best in releasing affordable, budget smartphone devices and with this Qube Colonia 5.5 all I can say is this is the best device they’ve released so far. I recommend this for those who don't have too much money to buy an international brand phone, but want to experience the very best smartphone experience the only downside would be the camera but heck, it’s priced under 9K php. Delete16GB ROM is till wrong. Do you guys even know what ROM stands for? Read Only Memory. The 16GB is the memory, but it is not ROM. CD-ROM and DVD-ROM are called as such because the data put into them CANNOT BE WRITTEN OVER. Meaning once the data is written and the space is full, they can no longer be erased and written another files on top of them.

DeleteFirst of all, it doesn't matter kung anung words ang inilagay nila, basta naiintindihan ng tao at nailagay ang tamang specs ay pwede na, ung buyer na lang ang bahalang mag research kung trip nila tong device. Ginawa lang tong blog na to para bigyan ng idea ang mga tao kung anong meron yung device.
Second. Before checking their grammar, you may want to check yours first. "lack to research" is just one of those na siguro nabitin tayu sa pagcchek. Salamin-salamin din pag may time, baka ikaw pala ung nilalait mo.
Third, and i'll end it here kase alam kong inaaksaya ko lang ang oras ko. Sa pagiging negatibo mo, hindi mo man lang naisip na pinaghirapan nila yan bago maipost. Siguro nga tech-savy ka pero that doesn't mean na alam mo na lahat at pwede ka nang magmagaling. Remember: There will always be someone who's better than you. Baka di mo kayanin pag nilait ka. He didn't mention the battery life. Based on my research, it only has 2400 mAH of battery. It's small for a 5.5" screen with HD display and octa-core processor. I think this phone can't last a day with above average use.

ReplyDeleteinconsistent yung DPI. naka lagay sa review 320 dpi pero yung sa spec naman 267. Then yung antutu result at 26K daw ay normal for an octa core? come on, some quad core reached as high as 35K.... octacore should at least be higher than that...

ReplyDeleteDami ko tawa aa comments lol. Mediatek mo technology nito at hindi anapdragon. I will not heaitate to buy thia compare to xiaomi mi3 16gb due to lack of memory space. Aanhin ko 36k antutu kung laging kapos space mo at hindi expandable.. :)

Ang habol ko sana sa Mi3, maliban sa high specs, ay iyong combination ng A-GPS at GLONASS para sa navigation pag umaakyat ako ng bundok.
Hanggang A-GPS lang kasi ang MediaTek. Iyong Brodcom naman, may A-GPS at GLONASS nga pero low specs ang features ng phone.

I'd rather put my 30k modifying/maintaining my car rather than buying a 30k CP w/c will just breakdown in yrs. Thanks again. Awaiting feedback on my inquiry. :-)
